The
Arigna Miner's Way and Historical Trail is a series of way-marked
long distance walking routes that form a network of paths through
three of Ireland's most picturesque and unspoilt counties of Leitrim,
Roscommon and Sligo. The walk is 118 kilometres (74 miles) in length, ascends
some 2000 feet and is best completed over a period of six to seven
days. One can however, pick and choose individual sections of
the walk and experience just some of the history & tranquility
that is intrinsic to the unpolluted wilderness of the area. There
